Dogue's Apprenticeship Program

The Animal Behaviour Apprenticeship program is a unique opportunity for animal lovers to realise their dream of becoming a dog trainer or animal behaviour consultant. If you like working with dogs or other species of animals, this program is for you!

The goal of the Dogue's Animal Behaviour Apprenticeship program is to give future dog trainers and animal behaviour consultants the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to train and/or treat animals suffering from mild to sever behaviour problems. The program objectives designed by Gaby Dufresne-Cyr focus on physical and emotional language, learning theories, training, and behaviour modification protocols. This hands-on learning opportunity puts students in direct contact with clients, dogs, and other animal species. The Animal Behaviour Apprenticeship program is open to pet owners, trainers, health-care professionals, groomers, and animal lovers.

Program Details:
The program length totals one-hundred hours and is divided into three parts: Theory (20h) - Practice (80h) - Consultation - (4h).
